Well, before we go any farther, you should realize that Florida is home to beautiful white sandy beaches whether along the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean. As a matter of fact, Florida is bordered by water on three sides including islands off the shore known as the Florida Keys. With all the shorelines available and the wonderful warm waters there are many surfing adventures waiting for you.

Jacksonville should be one of your first stops. Jacksonville Pier is the most popular surfing area breaks on any swell. You may even visit during the local surfing contest.
